Batik – A love story
The use of indigenous fabrics, including batik, remains an unbroken love story for us at O'Eclat Designs and since we started our handbag production 10years ago in Lagos, Nigeria. it has continued to take a centre stage as part of our ethos to preserve our traditional techniques, culture, and heritage. We like to describe the batik fabric as a painstaking hand-drawn and hand-dyed fabric commonly made with 100% cotton from the southwestern part of Nigeria.
